The political history, wars, peace treaties and negotiations in Europe today were a wide variety of political boundaries that we perceive in our everyday lives and travels. Borders are not just lines on a map and marks in the terrain. They shape the people who live near them, inside or outside certain limits, but are also influenced by these.
